Implementing Feminist Language Pedagogy: Development of Students’ Critical Consciousness and L2 Writing

Feminist pedagogy is a teaching practice, philosophy and process that seeks to confront deconstruct oppressive power structures both within outside of the classroom using gendered lens. As Women’s Studies departments continue grow in many universities, feminist seems be gaining popularity as an approach engaging students liberatory practices. However, language (feminist second learning context) appears have stagnated. This paper investigates implementation EAP writing for first-year at public university Southwest United States.
